Linn Hjalmarsson
Research Affiliate
Linn Hjalmarsson has been affiliated with the CSS Institute as a Research Affiliate since July 2020. Initially, she joined as an external doctoral student while completing her PhD in Economics at the University of Bern, which she successfully defended in April 2024. Following this, she worked as a research associate at the Institute until October 2024.
In her dissertation, Linn explored topics such as the transfer of medical practices, generic drug substitution, and individuals' responses to incentives and cost structures in the healthcare system. Her broader research interests lie in applied microeconometrics, particularly in the field of health economics.
