The CSS Institute has published its Annual Report 2025. The report provides a detailed overview of the research findings and activities carried out over the past year.
At the core of the report are analyses of health policy-relevant issues, including regional differences in healthcare costs, the effects of general practitioners’ holiday-related absences on healthcare demand, and the interaction between the insurance coverage and healthcare expenditures.
A further focus lies on the practical linkage between research and health policy. The Institute’s findings contributed to the policy debate on cost-containment measures in the healthcare system, which were enacted into law in March 2025.
